As a physicist who trained at Brookhaven, one of the largest national laboratories in the U.S., he currently leads Joel Van Dyk Advisory Services in London, assisting global Quantum companies in the Financial sector. Previously, he served as the Global Chief Cybersecurity Architect and Managing Director at State Street, a $4 trillionodian bank. With nearly 30 years of cybersecurity leadership experience at JPMorgan, DT, LSEG, and State Street, his work focuses on next-generation encryption, rapid systems, and safeguarding financial infrastructure. He combines his physics background with extensive executive expertise and practical architecture for banks and financial institutions, and is a contributor to the financial sector's official quantum security working group (FS-ISAC).
